The COOL-ER is officially launched at BookExpo America at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City at the end of this month. Units will ship in early June. The COOL-ER uses E-InkR, a new technology that gives you a screen with a “like paper” display, replicating the experience of reading a book. Using power only for “page turns” means that a single charge lasts for 8000 pages and unlike a book, the electronic display allows you to change the text size to suit you!

The eBook Reader  is priced at $250, and comes in a variety of 8 colors. The e-Ink Screen Display is about 8 inch. The reader also comes with a 1 gigabyte memory, and can support up to 4 gigabyte SD Card.  But off course one of the most important factors of owning a eBook Reader is knowing what file format it supports. This cool digital reader supports JPEG, PDF, EPUB, TXT formats, and ePub and PDF being the DRM formats supported. Another cool thing about the Cool-ER eBook Reader is that,  it is compattible with Windows and Mac, which is better than what most of the competition can handle at the current moment. If the Cool-ER eBook Reader isn’t cool, then I dont know what is! I’m just hoping that it displays PD files better Sony eBook Readers.
